It's that time of year where I welcome cold weather and warm baths back into my life. This usually means a visit to my local LUSH store to pick up some Bath Bombs and Skincare bits. I've been struggling with dry flakey skin around my nose and eyebrow area so I figured I needed something that would exfoliate but also add moisture back to my skin. I reached out to LUSH on Twitter and they recommended I try Ocean Salt, a face and body scrub that exfoliates away dead skin and adds moisture and brightness back to the skin.

If you don't know who LUSH is, it's a company that makes 100% natural and organic products and fragrances. They are made by hand using little to no preservatives and they do not test on animals or buy from companies that test on animals. Many ingredients include fresh Fruit, Vegetables, Essential Oils, and Safe Synthetics. They're famous for their legendary and colourful bath bombs and face masks.

I picked up five bits from LUSH; Ocean Salt, The Experimenter Bath Bomb, Intergalactic Bath Bomb, Yoga Bath Bomb, and Guardian of The Forest Bath Bomb.

I've always loved LUSH bath bombs, and I've probably tried each and every singe original and consistent bath bomb, however, when I spotted these four I knew they were new and I had to get my hands on them.

The Experimenter - I was drawn to the seems very...experimental. I expected it to be an explosion of colour and it was exactly that. The LUSH website described this bath bomb to have "vivid, swirling colors [that] enthrall your senses, crackling popping candy, and the sweet comforting fragrances of fair trade vanilla and tonka absolutes."

Intergalactic - If the name didn't have me loving it already, the display of colours certainly did. I''m a lover of anything space at the moment and this bath bomb literally had me feeling like I was floating through the milky way. The LUSH website describes this bath bomb as having a "mix of refreshing peppermint and neon color [...], while popping candy takes you on a trip around the Milky Way. Before you leap too far, rogue layers of vetivert and cedarwood take hold, evoking the warmth of human contact far from home and a hint of ‘80s aftershave."

Yoga - This bath bomb is meant to relax the tired soul. It has "deeply relaxing scents of sandalwood, olibanum and ho wood oils and take a journey of the self" (LUSH), and a relaxing orange-y colour that creates a calm atmosphere in the tub. I tried this one after work and I loved it!

Guardian of The Forest - I pictured this bath bomb to create a sort of blue lagoon in my tub but instead it created a very dark mossy green with simmering sparkles in my tub literally making me feel like I was in the heart of a forest. It has strong natural scents of Cypress and Oakmoss as well as Rosewood Oil.

I used to eye this scrub for the longest time since it has such a beautiful calming blue colour, however I've heard several reviews of this scrub that say it's too rough for sensitive skin or that it's more a body scrub than a face scrub. However, because I've been in need of an intense exfoliator, and also because LUSH reommended I give this a try, I decided to ignore the reviews and go ahead and purchase my first tub of Ocean Salt Face and Body Scub.

Ocean Salt is made with organic lime to brighten the skin and avocado to soften. I decided to get the self-preserving jar instead of the regular because it seemed like less of a hassle.
